Travel Map: Boston
Boston is an easy get-away from DC with Delta, US Air and JetBlue all running regular shuttle flights from Reagan National Airport (DCA). This past summer we spent a long weekend attending a friend’s wedding and spent some time checking out some of the off-the-beaten path attractions.
When I was little my family did Boston. My father being the history buff and also the man who can never stay put for more then 10 minutes had us walk the entire length of the red line Freedom Trail in a single day. I think I wore out a pair of tennis shoes just in that trip. If you have never been to Boston… do the line, go see the history. This travel guide is for the people who are returning for the second, third or forth trip and looking for stuff off the beaten path.
Some highlights of this trip include: Neptune Oyster, Technique, Al Dente and Maria’s Pastry Shop.
